'Orange is the New Black' Season 3 Cast News: Taylor Schilling Says President Obama Loves the Show

Netflix's hit original series "Orange is the New Black" is set to return with all new episodes for its upcoming third season. Reports now indicated that the production is ongoing and on track to hit the release date set by mid-2015, according to reports.

The website further cited spoiler news suggesting that there would likely be a time jump in the events of Season 3 and that Daya would give birth to John Bennett's baby.

Fans saw in season 2 how Daya and her cohorts inside the Litchfield Penitentiary succeeded in ousting George Mendez by saying that he is to be blamed for her pregnancy.

Later on, Benett came out of the shadow to confess that in fact, he was the father of Daya's baby.

"They have different ideas about what should happen, as we've seen before, and that continues to come to a head as we get closer and closer to Month Nine," Matt McGorry, who plays Benett, told TV Guide.

Meanwhile, lead cast member Taylor Schilling appeared on "Late Night With Seth Meyers" this Thursday where she told the host how President Barack Obama loves the show.

"I feel like he knows me!" exclaimed Schilling, who plays Piper Chapman on the series. "It's so exciting, I mean, the President is such a big deal,"

The host then showcased a photo taken during the White House Correspondents Dinner where Obama mentioned "Orange is the New Black" in his joke.

Schilling further revealed, citing her "reputable sources," that the Commander-in-Chief often watched the jail bird drama aboard Air Force One.

Apparently, "Orange is the New Black" has become Netflix's biggest show along with Kevin Spacey-led "House of Cards." It garnered numerous Emmy nominations and awards including Best Guest Actress and Lead Actress in Comedy Series.
