'Orange Is the New Black' Season 4 Plot News: Will Daya and Bennett Get Back Together?

Even though the release of "Orange Is the New Black" season 4 is still next year, fans are already anticipating the return of their favorite series couple.

The most talked about couple from the series are John Bennett, played by Matt McGorry, and Dayanara Diaz, played by Dascha Polanco. The previous seasons have been developing their relationship, which led to Dayanara's pregnancy. Season 3 saw Dayanara finally giving birth, when suddenly Corrections Officer John Bennett just disappeared from her life.

Fans were upset at Benett, especially when their baby was seen being taken away from Daya's family. With that, there have been questions whether the two will still get back together in the season to come.

During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the actress who plays the character of Dayanara recently spoke about her sentiments for the couple. When asked if the two will get back together, she said, "I would love to see that, but you have to be realistic. He walked out of her life and her main priority right now is figuring out how she can take care of her child."

Polanco was also asked how she reacted when she found out the fate of her relationship with Benett. She explained, "When I found out about the breakup, I was sad but proud. He had to do what he had to do, and I think Dayanara tried to live a fairy tale. But she's in jail, and there's a disconnect there. "

However, she did add that there was a part of her hoping that the two were meant to fix their relationship. She added, "My inner princess was always like, "That's my prince." Like, "We'll live our life in here until it's time for me to get out."

The fourth season of "Orange Is the New Black" is expected to premiere on Netflix in June 2016.
