'Orphan Black' Season 4 Spoilers, Plot Rumors: Delphine Returns

There will be good news in the upcoming season of "Orphan Black," especially for fans of Delphine.

While the previous season saw the beloved character Delphine, played by Evelyne Brochu, get a show at a parking lot, it was reported that she will be returning to the series. Graeme Manson, the co-creator and writer of the series, spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about what is in store for Delphine. Manson said, "We wanted to make a strong choice with the character this season and work with Evelyn to craft the role of Delphine."

Meanwhile, it was reported that another character will be returning as well. Susan Duncan, played by Christy Bruce, was revealed in the previous season, even though it was perceived that she already died long ago. Tatiana Maslany, the lead of the series, also spoke to Deadline about the upcoming season. She explained that "Orphan Black" season 4 will delve into mysteries that will really change the story. She told fans to expect more mysteries, which includes how Delphine had survived the gunshot and recovered as a much stronger individual.

The synopsis for the upcoming series stated, "Season 4 of the drama will see leader-of-the-pack, Sarah, reluctantly return home from her Icelandic hideout to track down an elusive and mysterious ally tied to the clone who started it all - Beth Childs. Sarah will follow Beth's footsteps into a dangerous relationship with a potent new enemy, heading in a horrifying new direction. Under constant pressure to protect the sisterhood and keep everyone safe, Sarah's old habits begin to resurface. As the close-knit sisters are pulled in disparate directions, Sarah finds herself estranged from the loving relationships that changed her for the better."

"Orphan Black" season 4 is expected to premiere sometime in 2016.
