'Overwatch' Character News: Additional Hero Hints Released by Blizzard, Still Unclear Who It May Be

Efi Oladele expected to be connected in some way to 'Overwatch's' next hero

"Overwatch's" developers haven't really shied away from fueling the hype train, as evidenced by them again releasing a new teaser that could be pointing to who may be the game's next hero.

The developers took to Twitter once again to drop the new clue, and it comes in the form of an image showing what appears to be a shopping list that belongs to robotics and artificial intelligence expert Efi Oladele.

The things included in the list seem to be for some kind of elaborate creation, and there's one item in particular that could be a pretty good indicator that this new image really is connected to a new hero.

As Redditor "Twilighttail" pointed out, the presence of the Axiom Vocal Processor could be a clear clue that what Efi is working on here is indeed a hero character. With that Axiom Vocal Processor, whatever it is that Efi is making may now be able to communicate clearly, which could allow it to work and act better inside the game.

For now, there is still plenty of confusion surrounding who "Overwatch's" next hero could be.

In a recent article, PVP Live noted that it seems as though the possibilities have been whittled down to some kind of hero wielding the Doomfist gauntlet or an Axiom robot.

At this point, the only thing that seems to be assured when it comes to this new hero is that Efi will be linked in some way to this character, though that's admittedly not the most substantial revelation.

The developers' ramping up the hints seem to be a good sign though, and there's a chance that the hype train will just keep on chugging along until this new character is finally and fully revealed.

Additional details regarding who this next "Overwatch" hero may be should be made available in the near future.
