Pacquiao vs. Mayweather Fight News 2015: Pacman Starts Training for 'Upcoming Fight'

The boxing world was recently stirred when Manny Pacquiao went to his social media to announce that he's about to undergo a "serious training" for "the upcoming fight."

The Instagram post, which showed the fighting congressman from the Philippines carrying on his arms his youngest son, Israel, garnered a lot of attention for its cryptic-like caption which says:

"More than anything that is very important is when you serve the Lord and spend time with the family before the serious training for the upcoming fight. Fight who?????? Hehehe im excited for this!"

Speculations strongly indicated that the person he's referring to could none other than Floyd Mayweather, Jr.

A report from a Philippine-based news outlet, GMANetwork.com, pointed out the 36-year-old champion informing the publication that the mega fight deal "has been hammered out for him" and that his camp is already waiting for Mayweather's signature to lock in the deal.

The 8-Division Boxing World Champion went on to say, via GMANetwork, that he's giving The Money's camp the honor to make the announcement.

Hopes for the megafight to happen were once again raised, after so many failed negotiations, when the two world-renowned punchers met face to face in Miami for the Miami Heat-Milwaukee Bucks NBA game this January.

ESPN.com, who covered the incident, said that the two men "met privately for more than an hour" probably to continue their discussions about the proposed encounter.

"That's the first time they ever sat eye to eye. I've met Floyd many times, but he and Manny had never had a chance to meet. They talked at halftime, but this was a longer, more serious meeting. You could tell by their body language that this was very positive. It was for a good hour or more," Michael Koncz from Pacquiao's team told ESPN.

Should the talks come to a nil, the Filipino boxing legend is bound to face either Jessie Vargas or Amir Khan.
