Paris Jackson Is 'In a Good Place,' Grandma Katherine Jackson Says

After several weeks of therapy, Paris Jackson is finally "in a good place," according to her grandmother, Katherine Jackson. The 15-year-old is "getting the help she needs."

The younger Jackson attempted suicide two months ago and was hospitalized but has been moved to a longer-term facility since then. She's in a more private facility with people her own age, where she can receive focused treatment for anxiety and depression as well as help dealing with the grief caused by the death of her father, Michael, who would have been 55 on Thursday.

"She's my baby," Katherine told Hello! Magazine. "It's hard for me, really hard. All I wanted these kids to be is happy. The night Michael died, Paris was crying and said, 'I want to go and see daddy; I don't want to be without him.'"

Katherine credits her son with bringing up the children to be "incredibly polite" and have "good manners." Michael shielded the children with masks anytime they left the house, but inside the home, the children were surrounded by loved ones and Michael's associates.

"They were sheltered a lot when Michael raised them," Katherine said. "I had thought about it and I said, 'I'm not going to raise them like that' … but Michael had a good reason. He was trying to protect them."

"There's not a day goes by that I don't think about him, when I don't shed a tear," the Jackson matriarch added. "He was a very good father, the best. He was a good son, too."

No one knows when Paris will return home to be with her family, or whether she will stay with the Jackson family, her legal guardians, or possibly stay with her biological mother, Deborah Rowe. However, pictures of Paris' stay at the boarding home have surfaced on Twitter, and Rowe plans to take action.

"These people, including some websites, are screwing with my daughter's ability to get better," Rowe told TMZ. She is seeking action against those who posted the photos and possibly sold them to websites.
