Passion’s 2004 Thirsty Conference

Passion has been gathering students in prayer and worship over the past eight years. With the motive of spreading the passion and love for God, they diligently strive to awaken campuses of the nation and the world.

From March 31 to April 2, Passion’s 2004 Thirsty conference for college ministry leaders will be held in Atlanta, Georgia.

This year’s Thirsty event is based on the theme “Refuel, Rethink, Refocus” and will feature the worship and music of Matt Redman, Charlie Hall, Chris Tomlin, and David Crowder Band plus teaching from Andy Stanley, Erwin McManus, and Passion founder Louie Giglio.

The new Passion album, HYMNS ANCIENT & MODERN- LIVE SONGS OF OUR FAITH, was recorded during last year’s conference. It is a testament to the God-focused spirit of the event. The unique recording features all-new concert recordings from Redman, Hall, Tomlin, David Crowder Band, and Christy Nockels of church songs over 100 years old. Each track, from “O Worship The King” to “How Great Thou Art,” is updated with modern worship production and/or an additional new praise chorus, yet maintains the reverence of the original work.

Passion believes in the ability of today’s students to change the world for God’s glory. To nurture that potential, the organization’s Thirsty conference gives campus ministry leaders – many of them weary and dry from years of service – a chance to unite and think through their leadership methods in fresh ways.
