Patrick Schwarzenegger is taking after his father Arnold when it comes to fitness and has made waves after posting a photo to Twitter this week.
The 19-year-old eldest son of Arnold and Maria Shriver shared a photo from his work out routine on Friday.
"Early morning pump! Who is getting into shape for summer??!! Gonna gain 7 pounds this summer," posted Schwarzenegger along with an image of himself shirtless and flexing his biceps.
Schwarzenegger's fit pose was reminiscent of his father's former body building days. In fact, Arnold Schwarzenegger was named Mr. Universe and age 20 and went on to win the Mr. Olympia contest seven times.
Similar to his son, Arnold often posts health-based tweets to the social media site.
"If you want to look lean and mean, eat lean and mean food," posted California's former governor. "Stick to the basics: lean meats and vegetables."
However, is it not only tweets about fitness that Patrick shares with his over 70,000 followers. The actor also shared his experience working in Oklahoma City following the recent string of deadly tornadoes in the area.
"Off to Oklahoma City now," he wrote on June 2. "Going to help out the city and do some relief work. Time to clean up and help out a fellow American."
Meanwhile, Friday's Twitter post was not the first splash Patrick Schwarzenegger has made in the media. The actor, model and entrepreneur has appeared in the films "Stuck in Love" and "Grown Ups 2."
Moreover, Schwarzenegger made headlines after he was involved in a "little ski accident" last year.
"Little ski accident today," he posted to Twitter at the time. "Some bruises and stiches down back and butt. Thanks to Sun Valley doctors for everything."
The post also included pictures of his injuries including himself with an oxygen mask.
Schwarzenegger and Shriver also share daughters Katherine and Christina as well as son Christopher. Shriver is the niece of late President John F. Kennedy.
