'Person of Interest' Season 4 Spoilers, Plot News: Reese Honors Carter's Memory by Taking On Her Case

This week's episode of the hit science fiction crime drama TV series "Person of Interest" Season 4 will find John Reese (Jim Caviezel) taking on an old case from a slain colleague in order to honor her memory.

A report from TV Guide indicated that in the upcoming segment, Reese will try to solve a homicide case originally assigned to Detective Jocelyn "Joss" Carter (formerly Taraji P. Henson). The latter wasn't able to close the case when she met her demise in the hands of Officer Patrick Simmons (Robert John Burke) on the third season of the show.

Before she was killed, Carter was able to save Carl Elias (Enrico Colantoni). To pay back her deed, Elias enlisted Anthony Marconi (David Valcin) to take out Simmons.

Reese's intention of taking up the case of the fallen associate is really to honor her memory. However, things might not be easy as the case escalates to more complexity. But the former CIA agent won't stop until he sees the conclusion of the issue.

The episode, which is titled "Terra Incognita," will see the acts of guest stars like Zachary Booth as Adam Peterson, Elena McGhee as a housekeeper, John Dinello, a clerk; William DeMeo as Carlo, and Patch Darragh as Gil.

After "Terra Incognita" plays this Tuesday, April 14 at 10 p.m. on CBS, there would only be two episodes left then. The two remaining episodes will be called "Asylum" (on April 28) and "YHWH" (on May 5).
