Aside from Reese and Finch, the episode will also show Root, played by Amy Acker, against Samaritan's agent. She will be seen in a dangerous position as she tries to save her own life. However, there is hope that she will make it through the fight since she has been able to defend herself in the past.
Meanwhile, Fusco, played by Kevin Chapman, will be questioned as he deals with the aftermath of other people's deaths. With that, fans hope that he will do so without endangering himself.

However, fans will see the premiere as a bittersweet moment since it was reported that it will be the final season. Reports by IGN revealed that J.J. Abrams, the show's executive producer, confirmed that Season 5 will be the last season of "Person of Interest."

Nevertheless, Abrams expressed his happiness to have been involved in the series. He said, "To have a show go as many years as that has, it's very hard to complain. It's a miracle to get a show on the air and to have it last that long is something that we should just be grateful for. But I do love that show and I would love to have seen it continue."

"Person of Interest" Season 5 is expected to premiere on CBS this May. 3.
