CNN talk show host Piers Morgan became a father for the fourth time Friday. His wife gave birth to a baby girl, whom they immediately named Elise; announcing her arrival to the world through Twitter.

Morgan posted a message: “It's true. I've become a dad for the 4th time, to a baby girl called Elise. She's absurdly beautiful, and utterly adorable."

Elise is the first child between Morgan and his second wife Celia Walden; he has previously had three sons with his first wife Marion Shalloe whom he was married to for 17 years.

Walden, 34, is a journalist at Britain’s Daily Telegraph newspaper.

Morgan has become a prominent figure in the United States since taking over from Larry King as CNN’s figurehead chat show host in 2010.

He previously was an editor of Britain’s News of the World and Daily Mirror newspapers.
