The game's multiplayer mode has Bungie's "Destiny" as a major source of inspiration, developer Naughty Dog revealed during the Q&A at PAX Australia 2015.

"The multiplayer team plays all sorts of different games, because we've been trying to do our research from what everyone else is doing, and try to use that as a guide for what we want to experiment with," Naughty Dog Community Strategist Arne Meyer said. "Without a doubt, there are a lot of people at the studio — myself included — who have been playing Destiny for a long time."

"Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" is expected to be released next year on March 18. The game will be a PlayStation 4 exclusive.
