PlayStation Plus April 2014: Free Games List Features Mercenary Kings, Batman Arkham City, and More in Instant Games Collection

PlayStation Plus will be receiving six different titles in the Instant Games Collection on April 1, which will replace March's promotion with a new set of free downloads.

Coming to North America is one free PS4 game, two free PS3 games, and three PS Vita games, reported IGN. The games added to the queue will be: Batman: Arkham City and Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse for the PS3, Mercenary Kings for the PS4, and PixelJunk Monsters Ultimate HD, Stealth Inc.: A Clone in the Dark, and Velocity Ultra for the Vita.

It is not confirmed on what days or in which order the games will launch, but usually PS Plus puts out new games each Tuesday of the month.

In Europe PS Plus subscribers will be getting different games. IGN reported, Europe will be getting Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 and Sly Cooper Thieves in Time for the PS3 along with Hotline Miami and MotoGP13.

March's available games are, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite which debuted early last week. The game was available for both of Sony's handhelds, Vita and PSP.

The other two games for the Instant Games Collection are Thomas Was Alone and Unit 13.

Thomas Was Alone is for the PS3 and PS Vita, and is primarily a puzzle platforming game using shapes. Unit 13 is a Vita exclusive in the vein of classic third person shooter SOCOM. The two games appeared in the PlayStation Store last week.

PS Plus has a few other games available at a discounted price. Those include: all three versions of Fez, Bioshock, Boshock 2, and Bioshock Infinite's DLC's.
