The September Lineup for PlayStation Plus Reintroduces AAA Titles to the Mix

With rumors rounding up in the internet for so long, Sony finally reveals the September lineup of free games for the PlayStation Plus. Fan favorites such as "Watch Dogs" and "Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham" did not make the cut, but new titles step in to headline the new range.

Journey

Journey is available for both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. The game is developed by the indie Thatgamecompany and was published in 2012 by Sony. This award-winning game explores the world of Journey through stunning and boundless landscapes while exploring the mystery of its ancient civilization. The adventure game prides itself for its gorgeous visuals and soothing musical score.

Lords of the Fallen

Lords of the Fallen is exclusive to the PlayStation 4. This game was co-developed by Deck13 Interactive and CI Games, and was released in 2014. The action RPG game takes place in a dark fantasy world ruled by the Fallen Lords. The gameplay includes fast paced action with a complex melee combat system to defeat demonic adversaries. Mastery of the game demands immense skill and persistence.

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands is exclusive to the PlayStation 3. The popular game was developed by Ubisoft and was released in 2010. Being a part of the well-known "Prince of Persia" franchise, players can expect an action and adventure-packed gaming experience. Save the Azad kingdom from total annihilation by channeling the ancient power of the Sand and unleash true leadership and strength.

Datura

Datura is again exclusive to the PlayStation 3. It was developed by Plastic Group and released in 2010 by Sony. The first-person action game starts with player being a patient in an ambulance, which then ends up in a mysterious forest. Much of the immersive gameplay takes place navigating the forest and interacting with various objects all throughout, using motion controllers for the PlayStation.

Badland

Badland is available to all platforms, including the PS Vita, the PlayStation 4, and the PlayStation 3. It was developed by Frogmind Games and was released for the PlayStation platform in 2015. The puzzle video game packs a plethora of imaginative traps and obstacles as the player explores the world of Badland. The physics-based gameplay and multiplayer modes make the adventure addictive and rewarding.

Amnesia: Memories

Amnesia: Memories is exclusive to the PS Vita. The game was developed by Idea Factory and was released on 2011. The plot follows the Heroine whose memory traverses her intricate relationships with five men. The romantic path leads to the piecing together of the forgotten memories as the player writes the enduring love story of the character.
