Pokémon Eevee Evolution Guide 2017: Capturing Strategies, Renaming Tricks to Evolve Eevee

Recently, a new update for "Pokémon GO" was released, and it has to do with how players handle the power of Eevee. Those who play this game know that pocket monsters like Espeon and Umbreon are not the best evolutions available. On the other hand, the three other available evolutions are very useful to players and there are guides on how to attain them.

When it comes to capture strategy and search, capturing Espeon and Umbreon in "Pokémon GO" is almost impossible. While there are claims of some players finding both of them in the wild, the truth is that the only realistic way of capturing any of these two is by following the secret Easter Egg rules.

Players who have all the five evolved forms were able to get all the evolutions by capturing a bunch of Eevee first. The minimum CP for this bunch is 10 and the maximum is 969. Capturing one is easy with the use of a Pokéball, although it can't possibly be done in the wild.

Since Eevee is not region-exclusive, it is easy to capture it anywhere, particularly in universities and colleges. The maximum wild capture CP for Eevee is 820, and each of its evolved forms appears very rarely. In order to evolve Eevee into Vaporeon, the player must rename it first to Rainer. To evolve it into Flareon and Jolteon, one should rename it to Pyro and Sparky, respectively.

Players must also remember that capitalizing the first letter of the new name is important in achieving the desired evolution. Also, this trick only works once for each name. After the player has acquired one of the evolutionary types through renaming Eevee, what follows is a random evolution situation.

To make sure that the naming trick will work, the player must check first if Eevee is worth evolving, there are no spaces before or after the name, and that he or she has hit the "Evolve" button.
