'Pokémon GO' and 'Pokémon Z' Release Date Still Not Confirmed
Fans of the Pokémon franchise have been waiting for two games that are expected to bring much fun and excitement to players around the world, but while the wait continues, it seems Niantic isn't ready to announce anything, specifically about "Pokémon Z."
The developer has already announced a 2016 release for "Pokémon GO," which is a game that allows for fans to experience what could be the "closest thing to real life" that any gamer has ever seen. The game challenges players to catch and train Pokémons, just as Ash does in the series and movies. However, the difference is players can also trade their Pokémons, as well as battle out with other players around the world.
Probably the most unique aspect of the game is its ability to tell if a Pokémon is in the area — meaning players can capture Pokémons that other players either left in the park to stroll or lost somewhere in the mountains.

The game also comes with a Bluetooth-powered wristwatch called the Pokémon GO Plus, which tells the player when a Pokémon is roaming the area, making the Pokémon open for capture.
Meanwhile, there are no details about "Pokémon Z" just yet. Unlike the other game, Niantic doesn't have a summary of ideas to give fans, meaning the game might not be in sight anytime soon.
However, a recent report by multiple outlets suggests that the CoroCoro Magazine will most likely reveal some good news about the said game for its Christmas issue, which will be available on Dec. 15.
CoroCoro is known to be full of information and news about the Pokémon franchise, and while it is unclear if any news about "Pokémon Z" will be revealed in the magazine, the rumor could also turn out to be true. According to iDigital Times, the magazine promised "big" Pokémon headlines.
On the other hand, fans are discouraged from raising too much hopes for "Pokémon Z" since Niantic is the only source of real-time news and information, especially in terms of the game's release.
