'Pokémon Go': Latest Nest Migration Observed, Pikachus Reportedly Spawning More Frequently

Next 'Pokémon Go' nest migration expected to take place on April 6

It is that time once again for "Pokémon Go" players to venture outside and see if there may be new creatures lurking around, as a new nest migration has reportedly taken place.

Over on r/TheSilphRoad Subreddit, players have again been talking about which new Pokémon they have encountered near where they live, while others are lamenting the loss of easy access to hard-to-find creatures.

A recent article from Heavy.com also makes note of the significant changes that have been observed thus far in the wake of the latest nest migration, and it appears that the highly recognizable Pikachu can now be spotted more frequently.

Cyndaquils may also show up more often, thanks to the spawn changes.

Conversely, "Pokémon Go" players may find that it is now a bit tougher to locate Magnemites and Swinubs as nests for these creatures have apparently been reduced.

Notably, The Silph Road's "dronpes" also shared that player reporting for water-type Pokémon has been disabled temporarily and that is due in part to the ongoing "Water Festival" event that has brought up the encounter rates for several of these water-based creatures.

Players will also want to keep an eye out for Magikarp as Shiny variants of this creature have already been spotted. Those who happen to live by a Magikarp nest may want to capture as many as they can in the hopes of acquiring that Shiny Pokémon.

With this nest migration now out of the way, players can now look forward to the next one, and that is expected to take place not too long from now.

The most recent nest migrations have taken place just two weeks apart, and if that holds true yet again, then the next major migration will happen on April 6, according to Pokémon Go Hub's Nest Migration Tracker.
