'Pokémon Go': What Can Players Expect From Rumored Easter Event?

Rumors hinting that upcoming 'Pokémon Go' event could be related to eggs

Events have increasingly become important parts of "Pokémon Go" as they have given players access to some special features and helpful bonuses, and it looks as though there is a new one set to go live within the coming days.

Given the time of the year, many players are expecting that some kind of Easter-themed event may soon get underway.

Players have even begun to put forth their own ideas regarding what this event could provide.

Over on r/TheSilphRoad Subreddit, "ZpOOnG" listed some of the things that could get more attention during an Easter event, such as the Pokémon Chansey and Exeggcute.

Breeding and lucky eggs could be involved as well, the Redditor speculated.

While not all "Pokémon Go" players may share exactly the same thoughts as the aforementioned Redditor, many of them still expect that eggs will become more prominent over the course of a potential Easter event.

The folks over at Pokémon Go Hub have their own ideas, and one in particular could be worth remembering, especially given what happened inside the game just recently.

As a recent report from the website noted, Shiny Exeggcute and Exeggutor could be introduced during an Easter event, just as Shiny Magikarp and Gyarados were added to the game right around the same time that the "Water Festival" event went live.

The discovery of the Shiny Pokémon during the last event gave many players new reasons to pick up the mobile game once again, and that may be something developers want to do again, so the Shiny Exeggcute and Exeggutor idea may not be that farfetched.

One more thing, if there will be an Easter-themed event that will happen inside the game, it will need to go live soon, especially with the holiday set to take place on April 16.

More news about other possible "Pokémon Go" events should be made available soon.
