Who's that Pokemon? "Pokken Tournament" will have a new character

A translation by DualShockers reveals that the teaser contains a hint in the form of the Japanese hiragana character "ラ" ("ra" or "la"), which the site says will be present in the new Pokemon's Japanese name.

"Pokken Tournament" can be played in arcades in Japan, but the Wii U version of the game will launch on March 18. North America and Europe have been promised a release date on spring 2016.

"Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire" Australia and New Zealand events

For "Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire" fans living down under, a Hoopa event will take place at certain stores from Jan. 18 to Jan. 26, according to Pokemon-centric website Serebii. In Australia, the event will happen at JB Hi-Fi, EB Games, and Big W. In New Zealand, the event will happen at JB Hi-Fi and EB Games. Participants will be given a serial code from participating stores, which can be redeemed in "Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire," "Pokemon X," and "Pokemon Y."

Pokemon LINE stickers

A new set of Pokemon LINE stickers is now available for Pokemon fans worldwide. There are a total of 24 animated stickers that can be used in messages on the social media app. The entire set can be bought for 100 coins or $1.99.

Wonder Mail for "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon"

"Pokemon Mystery Dungeon" players can now enjoy a new feature, Wonder Mail. Through Wonder Mail, players can receive special codes that unlock items or new dungeons in the game.

To start, Nintendo is giving away passwords to five items that players can unlock in the game. These are as follows:

  • Oran Berry: W95R91XT
  • Reviver Seed: XNY8PK40
  • Flame Charge: FSHH6SR0
  • Energy Ball: SJP7642C
  • Power-Up Punch: QXW5MMN1

"Pokemon Mystery Dungeon" players can also look for passwords at Nintendo outlets, including at Play Nintendo, Miiverse, and its Facebook and Twitter.

Players need to reach Chapter 2 to activate the Wonder Mail option, though. Once activated, Wonder Mail will appear on the main menu.
