Jason will be found at a certain garage in Angel Grove, California. He will receive a series of "mysterious text messages from his friend Billy" who is a brilliant kid. Zack will be found playing a "supershot arcade style" basketball game and is good at it.

In front of Jason's place is Hart Automotive, which is owned by Kimberly's family. The teenage girl is described as a "perfectionist on every level, academically and physically." She and Jason are apparently a couple. Trini, on the other hand, is "bit of a loner, who is out in the desert doing yoga."

Their encounter with the superpowers will begin when the group journeys to a decommissioned base to check a dinosaur fossil of T-Rex found by Billy on Google Earth.

The group will come across five power coins that light up on their presence.

Meanwhile in Russia, Rita Repulsa brews her plan to steal gold so she can remake Goldar, a huge warrior who serves at her command.

As for the release date, the publication indicated that "Power Rangers" movie is slated to hit the theaters on Jan. 13, 2017.
