'Pretty Little Liars' Season 4 to Lose Lucy Hale? Actress Says Rumors Are False

Rumors swirled around the Internet Wednesday, July 10, about Lucy Hale, who plays Aria Montgomery on ABC Family's hit drama "Pretty Little Liars," threatening to quit the show. But fans can rest easy it appears that the rumors are completely false, as Hale has denied them.

The rumors started when Star Magazine posted a story claiming that an anonymous source close to Hale said the actress wanted to quit the show.

"Lucy's furious that all the action is now centered around costar Shay Mitchell has threatened to quit," the alleged source said. Shay Mitchell plays Emily Fields on the ABC Family show.

However, it seems that this source was very misinformed. Hale responded to the claims of her not getting enough attention and wanting to quit the show via Twitter.

"For the magazine claiming I am quitting Pretty Little liars…that is absolutely false. I love the show and everyone involved.," the actress tweeted late Wednesday.

There is further evidence that the cast gets along well. In fact, there is even evidence that Shay Mitchell gets along very well with the rest of the "Pretty Little Liars" cast.

In an interview with Cambio in January of this year, Shay spoke about cast relationships.

"We all get along so well. We're so different in so many different ways but when we're all together, it's just such a blast. I can't even really call it work or a job ... I have so much fun every single day!" Shay told Cambio.
