"Pretty Little Liars" returns to ABC Family on Tuesday with a brand new episode entitled "Run, Ali, Run."
Following last week's 100th episode event, "PLL" fans were left to wonder about the aftermath of Toby's house blowing up and everyone's phone alerted to an A-like text. Alison's return wreaked havoc on Rosewood, and talking about her character, Sasha Pieterse warned about what the rest of season five has in store.
"You don't really know what kind of person Alison is yet," the actress role TV Fanatic. "She's all over the place, and you'll see more in the next few episodes. And I don't know how the viewers are going to take it because with the episode we're filming right now it's really interesting the way Alison's character is going."
Pieterse went on to reveal that the rest of season five will see "a lot of emotions at stake" while also revealing that this week's episode picks up immediately after the explosion of Toby's house.
"I can tell you, you see pretty interesting things," she said. "[The episode] starts moments later from the big surprise of Toby's house getting blown up and now everyone is checking their phones to see what messages they get, and that's the biggest shocker. I think it is the greatest follow up episode because our hundredth episode is special and it's kind of great to see what the viewers will think as well."
Meanwhile, "Pretty Little Liars" airs on ABCFAM Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EST. The synopsis for "Run, Ali, Run" is as follows: "Ali is frazzled and considers leaving Rosewood for her safety, but her pals want her to stay so they can protect her. Elsewhere, Caleb questions whether coming back to town was the right thing to do; and Ezra commits to finding answers through research."
