'Pretty Little Liars' Season 6 Premiere Date, News, Update: First Promo Teases 'Summer of Answers'

ABC Family's hit teen crime TV drama series "Pretty Little Liars" is set to return to the small screen with its brand new sixth season and according to the network's official press release, things will definitely get worse for the Liars.

ABC revealed some information about what's coming for Rosewood's teenage quartet now that they have already known "A's" true name.

"Moments after where the season five finale left off, Aria, Emily, Hanna, Spencer and Mona are trapped outside of Charles' Dollhouse with nowhere to go and must now deal with an angry tormentor," the statement from ABC reads. "Just when the Liars thought Charles couldn't get any worse, his games take a more demented and darker turn. As the girls struggle to survive, the puzzle of Charles' story begins to come together."

The Hollywood Reporter meanwhile shared some details about the recently released snippet of the Season 6 promo.

The clip begins with Mona (Janel Parrish) humming "Hush, Little Baby." Scenes that followed shows a hooded person lurking behind the girls and Toby (Keegan Allen) drawing a gun.

The trailer also revealed some enticing clues written on a piece of wood that reads: "He's going to kill me." The message is signed with "M."

Meanwhile, as the Liars are still trapped inside Charles "dollhouse," the boys, Ezra, Caleb and Toby, will continue to find their whereabouts with or without the help from the police.

"Pretty Little Liars" Season 6 is slated to air its premiere episode titled "Game On, Charles" on June 2, at 8 p.m. on ABC Family.
