Prince Harry to Give Meghan Markle Engagement Ring From Princess Diana's Tiara

When someone from the royal family plans to tie the knot with someone, it never is a small thing and always ends up as something grand and bold. Such is what's about to happen between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and it all starts with an extra special engagement ring.

According to Daily Star, Prince Harry is asking permission from his father, Prince Charles, to fashion a ring from his mother's tiara. It is reported that he plans to ask for Markle's hand on the late Princess Diana's birthday, which is on July 1.

"After Diana died, the boys both chose a keepsake from Kensington Palace when they moved to Charles' rooms in St James's Palace," a source tells Daily Star. "William picked his mum's Cartier watch, and Harry picked her sapphire and diamond engagement ring. But they had an agreement that whoever got engaged first would have Diana's ring — and of course that was William and Kate. Harry wants the same sentiment when he proposes to Meghan, so he is working with the jewellers to design something incredible," the source continues.

For someone to think of such extent to make the moment precious, it is very clear to see that Prince Harry is obviously smitten. If anything, Meghan is a very lucky girl to get a one-of-a-kind ring fashioned no less from one of the most loved princess of Wales.

The bond between the two is so palpable that every step they do points to the fact that they are really going to settle down soon. As a matter of fact, Prince Harry is thinking of bringing her to Pippa Middleton's wedding, but it appears it may not come to pass.

According to Daily Mail, Pippa has insisted that guests only bring their spouses, which excludes Meghan who is still not married to Prince Harry. It is said she doesn't want to be outstaged, given the fact that the twosome has been getting lots of attention.

It will be interesting to see how that pans out, but for now everyone knows that the lovers are going down the path of marriage.
