Prince William, Kate Middleton on 'Second Honeymoon' in Maldives

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are reportedly enjoying a second honeymoon in Maldives before heading off on a month-long trip to Australia and New Zealand. One report states that the couple left baby George at home with Duchess Kate's parents.

They are allegedly staying at one of the most exclusive resorts in the Indian Ocean – the Cheval Blanc Randheli Hotel on Noonu Atoll. It's a very safe and secure location for the royal couple, as the hotel only has 45 villas for people to stay in. Part of the royal party includes bodyguards who will work hard to ensure the ultimate privacy for William and Kate as they try to get away from it all before embarking on nearly a month-long journey next month.

Kate and William, along with baby George, will visit Australia and New Zealand together on their first trip abroad as a new family. While Kate and William are making public visits to charities and meeting dignitaries, George will be attended to by a nanny. His parents will be certain to check in on him every night, and there are scheduled family days, when there are no events planned.

It came as a surprise that Kate and William would go on their own vacation, given that William is to be studying at Cambridge University as part of a 10-week agricultural program. It would appear that William decided to play "hooky" and spend quality time with his wife before royal duties keep them incredibly busy.

George, meanwhile, is getting the "royal treatment" by staying with his grandmother and grandfather Middleton at their Berskshire mansion. He has his own Scotland Yard security detail that will make sure he and the Middletons enjoy their privacy while together and that nothing will happen to the little prince, the youngest heir to the British monarchy.

William, Kate, and George are due to leave for Australia in early April.
