Prince William Treats In-Laws to Anniversary at Sandringham - Sign Royal Couple Preparing to Move?

Prince William decided to invite his in-laws, Carole and Michael Middleton, to his home at Sandringham Estate for their wedding anniversary. The couple joined William, Kate, and grandson George, for the weekend, showing just how close they all are.

"William invited them to Sandringham," a source told the Daily Mail. "He wanted to show them around Anmer Hall. They had a barbeque on Saturday afternoon. Mike helped William while the ladies entertained Prince George."

They were just like any other family for the weekend – celebrating a wedding anniversary as well as Michael and Williams' birthdays. It's worth noting that William chose to invite them to Anmer Hall, given the recent buzz surrounding a possible move to the estate if he should get a job working for a helicopter ambulance company. William and Kate are reportedly considering leaving Kensington Palace and moving to the countryside.

"Kate's got a very, very close family," William previously said of his in-laws. "I get on really well with them and I'm very lucky that they've been so supportive. Mike and Carole have been really sort of loving and caring and really fun and have been really welcoming towards me, so I've felt really a part of the family and I hope that Kate's felt the same with my family."

William has spent several holidays with the Middleton family instead of with his own. They provide a sense of stability and normalcy that he never had while he was growing up. His own parents divorced when he was still young, and his mother, Diana, died in 1997. He has felt close to Michael, who he considers a strong father figure.

The Middletons have always been supportive of the couple. They were the first to know of Kate's pregnancy and the first to visit at the hospital after George was born. William and Kate then took the baby to their home instead of going to their own home for Kate to recover.
