'Prison Break' Season 5 Spoilers: Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell Are Back

When Fox announced that they would be bringing back the hit TV serial drama "Prison Break," fans of the show expressed their excitement for it. All they want now is to learn more about the upcoming show. Fortunately, the web has a lot of information for them, including spoilers and the latest scoop about it.

According to a report by Star Pulse, the show will be bringing back lead characters Michael Scofield, played by Wentworth Miller, and Lincoln Burrows, played by Dominic Purcell. However, fans who have followed the show know that Miller's character died in the final episode of season 4. In fact, it is said to be the "defining moment" of the season finale.

Fans are now curious how they are going to bring back Michael from the grave. That's something vague for now but one thing is clear—the brothers will be back. As stated in Inquisitr, Fox Chairman and CEO Gary Newman was the one who gave the announcement in August. He said that both Miller and Purcell would be back, even though the on-screen brothers are also part of "The Flash" and the upcoming 2016 "Legends of Tomorrow." They are portraying Captain Cold and Heat Wave in both DC shows.

Another character that is rumored to return is Michael's wife, Dr. Sara Tancredi, who is played by "Walking Dead" actress Sarah Wayne Callies. Before season 4 closed, Sara was pregnant with Michael's child. If she does return as well to the show, fans can expect to see a little genius version of Michael.

According to Mstarz, Callies doesn't know yet if she is to return to the series.

"No one's asked me yet, so I don't know. If we can find a way to honor [Sara and Michael] by telling a beautiful continuing story—and my bosses [on Colony] let me do another show - I would love to. There is such a long list of things that are out of my hands, but my heart is very, very excited about it," Callies said, during the Television Critics Association press tour.

"Prison Break" season 5 is expected to air in March of 2016. A total of 10 episodes have been ordered. It's not known yet if the show will retain its name or if they'll change it.
