PS4 Release Date: Playstation 4 Coming on November 13 in the UK

The PS4 is reportedly scheduled for a November 13 release in the U.K. according to European retailers, who have begun planning for the consoles launch.

PC Adviser reported they received word from Media Markt and Bol.com for the confirmation of the November 13 date, but although the date can not be locked in stone due to no official word from Sony, it is almost certain the system will be out sometime in November.

With anticipation of the Playstation 4's coming, it is already being regarded as one of the most powerful gaming devices ever created.

"The thing I'm most pleased about is the entire design principles about the PS4 are being focused around the gamer first. So how can we create a platform that's great to develop for and easy to develop for, because that unleashes the creatives and if they can create the best experiences that's going to lead to satisfaction for gamers," Fergal Gara, managing director of Sony Computer Entertainment U.K. and Ireland, told Tech Radar.

Sony was asked to comment on the possible inclusion of the PS4 camera to compete with Xbox One's inclusion of the Kinect.

"What I'll say is, lots of ideas were considered you know, lots of different combinations and of course price was I think fairly clear from a very long time out but you know everything about PS4 is about giving gamers choice. So if you don't want a camera you don't have to have a camera. If you want to trade in games, you can trade in games. So there's been nothing in the whole proposition that is overly restrictive and I think the reaction has proved that people value that," Gara said.

PS4's presales have been phenomenal, and Sony is offering four different bundles compared to Microsoft's one, Xbox One Day One.

When the PS3 was released in 2006, retailers were concerned by the console's high price tag, but since the PS4 is even cheaper than its predecessor and lower priced than Xbox One, the company is telling people to expect 10 times more units per shipment, reported Daily Game.

PS4 has been heralded as the console to buy, especially after Edge magazine front-paged the system and proclaimed that Xbox had "blown it" when it comes to which system to buy.

The magazine even pictured the PS4 with the caption, "This is your next console: why the only option right now is the PS4."

The Xbox One is expected to arrive November 27, just in time for Black Friday.
