The so called "Queen of Clown Porn" has died aged 30 following a very public battle with breast cancer. Porn film star Hollie Stevens, originally from San Francisco, California, died on Tuesday with her husband by her side after succumbing to the cancer that had spread to her liver, bones and brain.

Stevens, famous in the adult entertainment industry for making more than 170 films, was married just one month ago. She is known for being a pioneer for what the industry called "Clown Porn."

Despite her fame in the porn industry, Stevens did admit before she died that she hoped she would be remembered for being a good wife and friend, rather than for her adult films.

"I'd also want people to know what I love most, what makes me happy, is being a friend and a wife. That's what I would want them to know and remember," she said, according to industry site BoingBoing.

It was only last spring that Stevens was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer, and she underwent months of chemotherapy. It was eventually decided that it was best to remove her left breast in an attempt to counter the cancer.

It was previously reported that Stevens initially found a lump in her breast but did not seek medical assistance because she did not have any health insurance. She had admitted, "I noticed it and paid attention to it, but going to the doctor is hard when you don't have insurance."

Her admission sparked a wave of generosity as friends and family and general well-wishers came together to raise $16,000 to help with her medical bills, according to The Daily Mail.

She said, "I cannot believe how many people care, how good my fans are, and how much complete strangers have helped me. This is unreal. Not everyone hates clowns after all!"

Stevens died on Tuesday July 3 in San Francisco as she held the hand of her husband, comedian and actor Eric Cash, whom she married in June.
