Quentin Tarantino is reportedly dating the star in many of his films, the newly-single actress Uma Thurman.

The pair have worked together on several Tarantino films including "Pulp Fiction" and the "Kill Bill" series. However, today, Tarantino and his "muse" Thurman may be romantically involved as well.

"They had a thing and got together again recently," a source close to the pair told Us Weekly. "He's loved her for years."

Adding to beliefs of their romance, Thurman recently split from fiancé Arpad Busson, and attended this year's Cannes Film Festival alongside Tarantino. The pair even shared a villa together in the South of France. According to the insider, Thurman's romance with Tarantino has been a long time in the making.

"There has always been an attraction," the source said, according to Us Weekly. "She has indulged from time to time, and that's how their relationship has always worked."

A second source revealed that Thurman and Tarantino always keep in touch.

"They talk often," the second insider told Us Weekly. "They go out to lunch in NYC when he's around. He always tried to find a role for her, or have her involved somehow."

Meanwhile, Thurman was married to Ethan Hawke for six years before divorcing on 2004. The exes share daughter Maya, 16, and son Levon, 12. Then, in 2007, Thurman got engaged to multi-millionaire Arpad "Arki" Busson with whom she shares a 22-month-old daughter Rosalind Arusha Arkadina Altalune Florence Thurman-Busson. The baby girl also has step-siblings in Busson's two sons with his previous partner Elle MacPherson.

Alternately, Tarantino has been romantically linked to Kathy Griffin, Mira Sorvino and director Sofia Coppola over the years. During a 2009 interview with Elle magazine, the award-winning director candidly admitted his feelings toward Thurman when asked which famous woman he would marry if his life depended on it.

"Shotgun to my head? Famous woman? Uma," he said. "I don't know what she'd think about that, but it's my life that's at stake in this question."
