'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Season 5 News: Brandi Glanville and Kim Richards Get in Catfight

Despite certain cast members' vows that season 5 of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" will be drama free, it looks like the opposite as fans of the show are in for a lot of chaos and craziness once the show returns to Bravo.

At a recent filming event for "RHOBH," Brandi Glanville allegedly attacked Kim Richards because the latter tried to stage an impromptu intervention about Brandi's drinking, a source told RealityTea.com. Richards reportedly hurled a lot of insults at Glanville, which resulted in a physical altercation between the two.

"Brandi and Kim were arguing when Kim decided to hit below the belt and started talking smack about Brandi being a drunken loser," the insider said. "That did it, Brandi just lost her mind, and went after her. She rushed her and started punching and swinging at Kim."

It seems as there is some truth to the eyewitness report, as Glanville took to Twitter to vent.

"Just pray, pray that I don't go to jail for physical violence," she wrote. However, the reality star insisted that there was never a fight between her and Richards.

But the source insists that the fight did take place, and that most of the drama on the show can be attributed to Glanville's expanding ego.

"She did Donald Trump's 'Celebrity Apprentice' and her book was a huge success. Her ego is out of control and the drinking only makes it worse," the source said.

And it seems as though the drama won't be ending there, as Kyle Richards is about to make her return to the show in its upcoming season. Glanville has previously revealed on Twitter how Richards and Lisa Vanderpump allegedly ganged up on her as revenge for her role in a tabloid cheating scandal.

"Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" season 5 will see the return of Kyle Richards, Lisa Vanderpump, Brandi Glanville, Yolanda Foster, and Kim Richards. Two new "Housewives" will be joining the reality series, "Young and the Restless" star Eileen Davidson and "Days of Our Lives" actress Lisa Rinna.
