'Real Housewives Of Dallas' Coming to Bravo TV

"The Real Housewives of Dallas" is the latest addition to the successful Bravo TV franchise according to new reports, with five elite women already cast as members of the show.

Bravo executives had difficulty casting characters for the Texas- based reality TV show, and the cable network's TV host, Andy Cohen, had previously ruled out developing a Real Housewives franchise in Texas.

"We've tried to mount a Texas [show], but we never hit the nail on the head with casting," Cohen once told Variety News.

Now it appears that Bravo was able to find the right mix of castmates who will likely bring equal amounts of cattiness and drama to the Dallas-filmed show.

"[The Real Housewives of Dallas] is surely going to be a wreck and different from all the other shows Bravo has had," a source told renowned blogger Perez Hilton.

The cast includes Lisa Troutt, wife of successful businessman Kenny Troutt, who owns Excel Communication.

Rhonda Aikman has also been cast, she is said to be the ex-Wife of former NFL star Troy Aikman, who was once a Dallas Cowboys Quarterback.

Tiffany Mullen is joining the show as well. She is the wife of, Mike Mullen, who is the successful CEO of Energy Equipment Resource Inc.

Deziree Ramirez, who is currently engaged to Cory Harris, a former music producer, has also been cast.

Ramirez is said to be an heiress, being the granddaughter of the original founder of Cache/Lillie Rubin. She is also a radio personality, businesswoman, author and Playboy model.

Diane Gibby is the fifth Dallas housewife: she is the wife of Rod Rohrich, a Dallas top plastic surgeon. Gibby is also the founder of Women's Center for Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery at Medical City.

The show is reportedly in pre-production stages, with filming scheduled to begin as early as this summer.

The cast "will start filming in August, and the show is supposed to air in early 2013," a source told Reality Tea.

The Real Housewives franchise already currently films reality shows across the U.S. in Orange County, New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, Beverly Hills and Miami.
