'Real Housewives of New Jersey' Season 7 Update: Teaser Trailer Released, Features Teresa Giudice's Return from Prison

American reality TV series "Real Housewives of New Jersey" is returning to the small screen for its seventh installment. The network, Bravo, made the announcement on Monday and a teaser trailer has already been released as well.

The trailer featured the return of Teresa Giudice to her home after staying in prison for 11 months for bankruptcy and mortgage fraud. She was released from the Danbury Federal Correctional Institution in December and placed under house arrest. But as of the present, the reality star is now free.

The teaser covered the emotional reunion of Teresa and her daughters Gia, 15, Gabriella, 11, Milania, 10, and Audriana, 6, and her husband Joe Guidice, who will be sentenced to prison for 41 months this March for the same fraud charges. Everyone in the room are seen holding "welcome home" signs which brought Teresa to tears. Joe is also heard saying, "Hi, honey. Welcome home" before giving his wife a big hug and a kiss.

Season 7 of "Real Housewives of New Jersey" is expected to be one of the most emotional seasons yet. The other stars of the series are also returning. Teresa will be joined by her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga and former friend Jacqueline Laurita.

"I am very excited to be back," Giudice, 43, said. "For me, this season is all about letting go of the past and embracing the future. People are calling me Teresa 2.0."

Us Weekly also reported that Teresa has been spending time with Melissa since she was released. Melissa said that season 7 for her is going to be all about family, fun, friendships and fashion. As for Jacqueline, the source said that she is looking forward to bonding more with Teresa. It can be remembered that Jacqueline left the show after season 5. But now she's coming back and she's excited for the fresh start.

"Real Housewives of New Jersey" is expected to return sometime later this year on Bravo.
