'Real Housewives of New York City' News: Ramona Singer Expresses Concern About Ex-Husband's Welfare Due To Hurricane Irma

Ramona Singer may have an almost nonexistent relationship with estranged husband Mario Singer, but the "Real Housewives of New York City" star is still worried about his safety since his residence in South Florida might have been ransacked by Hurricane Irma.

In an interview with New York Post, Singer revealed that her ex-husband refused to evacuate from his home before the Category 5 hurricane wreaked havoc in the Sunshine State over the weekend. This caused her and their daughter Avery to worry about his welfare.

"My daughter and I are concerned that he won't evacuate. We both reached out to him," Singer stated in the interview that was conducted during Nicole Miller's New York Fashion Week show held at the Gramercy Park Hotel. "But he says that he's gonna bunker down and sit this one through."

She also turned to social media to wish her fans safety before the record breaking hurricane arrived in Florida.

Meanwhile, Singer's co-star and Skinnygirl owner Bethenny Frankel did her own part to help those who were affected by the Hurricane Harvey in Houston, Texas.

Together with the Dress for Success organization and her B Strong Foundation, Frankel and the other volunteers handed out basic necessities like bottled water, toothpaste and other toiletries, pairs of socks, clean underwear, and other grooming products.

According to Variety, Frankel handed out about $300,000 in donations to help the women and families who were affected by the category 4 hurricane.

Upon seeing the destruction left by Harvey, Frankel believed that the incident is already a crisis. She was also devastated upon seeing the destroyed personal belongings of the victims, including family photo albums and children's toys.

"These are people's lives and childhoods out here rotting on the street," the reality star stated.

Frankel and Singer are currently taking a break from "Real Housewives of New York City" after its season 9, but Bravo is expected to announce the show's return soon.
