Revenge Season 4 Spoilers, Plot News: Showrunner Teases Possible Major Character Death

ABC's hit drama series "Revenge" is in the midst of its Season 4 and things are getting more intense for the people in the Hamptons.

Fans were shocked when the show's midseason finale ended with the death of Daniel Grayson (Joshua Bowman), an act least expected from him but he did nonetheless in order to save his ex-wife Emily (Emily VanCamp).

"Seriously, though, it was a very fitting end to save Emily from a bullet after I shot her. … It came full circle," Bowman told TVLine of his character's demise. "I think it was a good decision for the story, and I think it'll definitely serve its purpose to help the writers move forward."

But soon as the news of the program's return date was known, spoiler reports also came along with it suggesting fans to brace themselves for another possible major character death. Here's what we heard.

In Sunil Nayyar's interview with Entertainment Weekly, he revealed there's a high likelihood that another character will be put six feet under as the season progresses, and that may include the avenging Emily.

"Whether she lives or die, honestly we don't know yet," Nayar told EW of Emily. "That is such a moving thesis for the show, because there is such loss that comes with this journey."

"What's interesting to me about how she would finish this journey is what sense of victory does she take and who does she get to walk away with, if she walks away at all?" he went on to say.

Viewers will have to watch out for that another shocking turn of events when "Revenge" Season 4 resumes on air this Sunday, Jan. 4, on ABC.
