Rihanna Being Courted by NBA Rookie?

Rihanna may have another public suitor on her hands, after Philadelphia 76ers rookie Joel Embiid began courting her on Twitter.

Embiid, the 20-year-old center, may be injured with a stress fracture to his right foot but the athlete is having fun on social media. After expressing interest in married reality television star Kim Kardashian, Embiid has moved on to 26-year-old Barbadian pop star Rihanna.

"Hey baby holla at me!! Dinner at girogios at 930pm @rihanna," he questioned the singer on Twitter before writing, "SOURCES: Rihanna is considering JOEL EMBIID's offer."

The athlete later created an avatar with her picture next to his and made a fake image of the singer wearing his jersey. He then took an image of himself eating dinner, tweeting that the singer had joined him.

"Family dinner with @rihanna #Johanna," he tweeted.

While the singer was nowhere to be found in the image, she did begin to follow him on Twitter Friday. The pop star who previously dated singer Chris Brown and rapper Drake seems to be taking time for herself while speaking up about it last month.

However, the singer insists that she does not want to be in a relationship.

"When I go on a date, I look the guy over, from head to toe," Rihanna told the German magazine Bravo. "But to be honest, I don't want a serious relationship right now. I just want to have fun!"

The singer has never shied away from talking about matters of the heart, and previously admitted that she does not quite understand love yet.

"How many of you are in love? How many of you hate love," Rihanna questioned last year before performing "What Now" at her concert. "How many of you don't (expletive) understand it? I'm in that group."
