Even pop-stars like Rihanna could be taking a hit from the housing market, after a new report announced that the singer has sold her home for over two million dollars less than she paid for it. However Rihanna seemed unfazed Sunday night, celebrating the Super Bowl at the same club as her ex Chris Brown.
According to the Detroit Press, Rihanna has sold her home for $5.03 million. The listing price began at $4.5 million and listed a series of defects with the home. "The listing described the house as a "major fixer" with "extensive damage from moisture and water intrusion" at the roof, windows, doors and balconies," the Detroit Press stated.
The singer bought the home in 2009 for a reported $6.9 million. Last year the singer filed a lawsuit against the owner, inspector, and agents involved in the sale citing that she was lied to about the condition of the home.
According to Hollywood Gossip, "The 23-year-old's pad boasts eight bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, a sauna, steam room, library, gourmet kitchen, master suite and private home theater while sitting on more than three-quarters of an acre of land. In her previous lawsuit, the singer referred to the mansion as "uninhabitable".
Rihanna, however, doesn't appear to phased by the current loss of selling her home, as she opted to party alongside Chris Brown at a Super Bowl Party. "What a crazy night?!!" the singer wrote on Twitter Monday. According to Celebrity-Gossip, the singer attended the party at Greystone Manor in West Hollywood on Sunday night, but left when she became aware of Chris Brown's presence.
"Clad in a partially sheer black bodysuit, ripped jeans and a black Chanel cab hat, the 23-year-old hit the exits while surrounded by security personnel," the site reported after she was informed that Brown had also arrived to the club.
Rihanna and Chris Brown have been rumored to be in a secret romance, although Brown has denied any such thing.
