Rihanna, the 25-year-old Barbadian pop star, recently broke down in tears at a performance in France during her Diamonds World Tour.

The singer insisted that her tears were coming from a happy place after being overwhelmed with love from her fans.

The singer described the feeling as bittersweet, since she knew her world tour was coming to an end soon.

"..To stand here and feel the love in this room throughout this entire tour… It's coming to the end of the tour and it's sad. I hate saying goodbye," Rihanna told her fans. "You guys showed me so much love in this room tonight."

Still, the singer did not seem in her element exposing so many emotions on stage.

"I don't know why the (expletive), I'm crying, that's crazy, thank you so much," Rihanna told her fans in France. "I love you guys. It's a Diamonds World tour so you know we can't leave yet."

While Rihanna seems grateful for her tour experience, certain parts of it have been less than smooth.

During her "Diamonds World Tour" stop in Manchester, Rihanna told fans that she loved how crazy they were being. However, things got too crazy for the pop star when food was tossed on the stage where she was performing by audience members.

"All right, there's a good crazy, and a bad crazy," Rihanna told her audience members, according to an aceshowbiz.com report. "When you throw (expletive) up here, that's an epic fail."

Still, the pop star took to her Instagram account to show gratitude to her fans and elaborate further about her reason for shedding tears during the recent performance in France.

"I felt you! You help me to understand how a fan really thinks," Rihanna explained on Instagram. "The way you guys appreciate it all, it kills me I can't believe how much you guys really love me! You care so much, its overwhelming and yet so beautiful!"
