Rihanna 'Doing OK' After Chris Brown Split; 'They'll Be Back Together,' Father Claims

Rihanna and Chris Brown's recent split may have relieved skeptics, but the Bajan singer's father expressed his concern over the matter.

Ronald Fenty, who has forgiven Brown for assaulting his daughter in 2009, revealed that despite the couple's split he still supports the prospect of a reconciliation. Rihanna, 25, reportedly ended her relationship with Brown, 24, after a dispute over his ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran.

"I'm still his no. 1 fan — I still like Chris regardless. They have a very passionate relationship but if they split up it does not mean it's for ever with them," Fenty told The Sun U.K.

"In a couple of months they'll be back together," he continued.

On May 5, Brown was photographed celebrating his birthday with Tran, 24, and others in New York City, but Rihanna was nowhere in sight. Days later the "Diamonds" singer, who was allegedly furious after photos of Brown and Tran surfaced, ended their relationship.

"She seemed to be doing OK. We talked about how the tour was going, I asked her if she partied and she needed rest and she said: 'I'm going to be okay, Dad,'" Fenty said.

"Whatever road my daughter chooses, I'm behind her win or lose. My main thing is that she's happy," he added.

In October, Tran was left heartbroken when Brown admittedly ended their relationship over Rihanna. Just months after confirming his reconciliation with the Bajan pop star, he announced that they had again split up during a recent interview with Australian radio hosts Kyle & Jackie O Show.

"The way I look at it is, I'm always going to love that person, but people have differences, and people have different wants and needs, at the end of the day she's a young girl," Brown said.

"I can't really be focused on wife-ing somebody that young, and I'm young too," he added.

Rihanna is said to be intent on moving forward after her recent break-up with a source revealing that the singer has 'no hard feelings.'"

"He made his bed and she's hoping he's happy laying it. No hard feelings, she wishes him well, always," a source told HollywoodLife.com.

"She's happy for [Chris]," the source continued, saying he and Tran are rumored to be growing closer. "That's his life and she's done just about all [she] can do for him."
