Rihanna's Brother Thinks Chris Brown Was Her Soul Mate

Rihanna, 24, and Chris Brown, 22, may be soul mates, according to Rorrey Fenty, the brother of the Barbadian singer.

"Rihanna and Chris were great together, they were like soul mates, but it's a very sensitive subject – I just blank it out and I think she blanks it out, too," Fenty told Heat magazine.

Still, Rihanna's 22-year-old brother told the magazine that her unhappiness does not stem from her inability to be with Brown.

"When she looks unhappy, it's not because of her missing Chris, it's because of how hectic her lifestyle is – she sometimes does 13-hour days," he said.

Fenty's revelation about his older sister comes after she collaborated with Brown on two songs in February, three years after reports surfaced that he was violent with her. According to The Dream, who produced the "Birthday Cake" remix collaboration between Rihanna and Brown, it was her idea to record the song with her formerly abusive ex-boyfriend.

"It was Rih's idea," The Dream said in an E! Online report. "I think [the topic] that should be more on the tongues is: How do we proclaim to be a nation of forgiving…but we can't actually do it? If [Rihanna] can forgive, that's where she is mentally."

Although it seems Fenty has forgiven Brown for what has transpired with his sister in the past, the younger brother said he wants Rihanna to find love again.

"I just want her to be happy. She has talked to me about getting married and having children," Fenty told Heat. "She plans on settling down, but she wants to focus on her career. She needs a man who likes to do the stuff she likes doing, someone laid back and fun-loving."

In an interview with Elle magazine, Rihanna admitted that she has trouble finding the type of relationship that her brother is hoping for.

"I guess I'm challenging, because my job seems to affect every relationship I have or try to have. Even with people I think should get it, you know," Rihanna said. "That seems to be a big factor; it's always an issue. But I just need to find the person who balances me out, because then things like my schedule won't matter. I've done it before, so I know I can do it again."
