Rihanna's Fans Threaten Lena Dunham for Criticizing Chris Brown Photos

Rihanna and Chris Brown's recent public appearances have caused many to speculate about the Barbadian singer reconciling with her former assailant and Lena Dunham doesn't like it.

Dunham, 26-year-old actress and filmmaker who is responsible for the creation of the HBO series "Girls," said that she used to be a fan of Rihanna's. However, Dunham recently spoke out about the singer failing to act as a role model on social media when speaking on actor Alec Baldwin's podcast "Here's The Thing."

"It's an amazing thing and it's like, it's a platform that you have to take seriously," Dunham said on the podcast. "Which is why sometimes it's like I used to be really into Rihanna, that pop star, and then it's like again, I don't want to ever throw stones from my glass house, but I follow her on Instagram and I just think about how many little girls beyond what I could even comprehend are obsessed with Rihanna."

While the creator of "Girls" went on to highlight the singer's accomplishments, she went on to criticize Rihanna's decision to promote smoking and hanging around her ex-boyfriend who assaulted her years ago.

"Like you know, she left Barbados, she's had this amazing career, she's won a Grammy She's talented," Dunham said. "And then she gets back together with Chris Brown and posts a million pictures of them smoking marijuana together on a bed…And it cracks my heart in half in a way that makes me feel like I'm 95 years old."

Various people took to Twitter to react to Dunham's comments. Some were so offended that they chose to threaten the actress.

"Lena Dunham needs to shut up and mind her own business before she gets dragged...," one person tweeted.

Another fan of Rihanna's anticipated what the singer's reaction would be by tweeting, "As if she cares what you think."

While Rihanna has not been shy about being pictured with Brown, she made it clear that she still refuses to define their relationship in the latest issue of Complex magazine. When asked why she recorded the "Nobodies Business" duet with Brown if she did not want to conduct interviews about him, the singer was not ready to reveal details about her possible reconciliation.

"It's a fun record that The-Dream wrote and we loved the lyrics," Rihanna told Complex. "You're still asking me questions about it so clearly you don't know."
