Rob Kardashian Accused of Robbery: Photographer Was on Private Property, Says Star

Rob Kardashian, accused of robbing a photographer, has told friends that the woman was trespassing on private property and attempting to take photos of him changing his clothes.

Police launched an investigation into Kardashian on Wednesday after a photographer accused the reality star of stealing from her. Kardashian allegedly took the memory card out of the photographer's camera after she snapped a picture of him shirtless, according to TMZ.

Kardashian claimed to friends that he was training at a West Hollywood gym owned by famed trainer Gunnar Peterson when the photos were taken. Kardashian was changing in the "garage," friends told TMZ when the photographer began to snap shots.

The garage is closed off to the public and requires a code for entry. A person who "manages" the gym told TMZ that photographers "have a custom of waiting on public property to get their shot" of celebrities that frequent the gym, but it is unclear how the woman might have gotten on to private property.

Kardashian has entered a weight loss program after gaining 40 pounds following his split from Rita Ora at the end of 2012.

"All I did was waste a lot of money and gain 40 pounds," Rob, 25, told his sisters of the his former relationship during a February episode of "Kourtney & Kim Take Miami."

"I need to focus on me. That's all I wanna be about," he added.

Workouts at the gym appeared to begin last week, according to Kardashian's Twitter.

"6am. Time for workout #1. #BEASTMODE," he posted on March 11. He tweeted about "Workout #2" on March 21st. Kardashian had previously stated on Twitter that his goal is to lose at least 50 pounds.
