Samsung Galaxy C5 Leaked Images Reveal Metal Finish; Rumored Specs Include 4 GB of RAM and 16 MP Camera

South Korean tech giant Samsung may be releasing a new device for the rumored Galaxy C line. According to a report by The Verge, the said handset is called the Galaxy C5. Though there is no confirmation yet from the company, alleged images of the device have surfaced already via French website NowhereElse.

As seen in the purported images, the Galaxy C5 may be coming with a sleek metallic body, which is said to be quite the same with the recent HTC phone models such as the HTC 10 and the HTC A9. It's also noted to appear like the iPhone 6 in terms of the style, appearing a tad bit glossy because of a silicone case.

But even with its premium look, the device is said to be just a mid-ranger as indicated in the leaked specs and features. Sammobile noted that the Galaxy C5 (model number SM-C5000) is speculated to carry a 5.2-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It's also rumored to come in at least two models with different display sizes.

It may also be equipped under the hood with an octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor paired with 4 GB of RAM and Adreno 405 GPU graphics. The device will be clocked at 1.5 GHz and will be pre-installed with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow topped with Samsung's Touchwiz UX. Moreover, Pocket-Lint detailed that the device may come with a 16-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. A dual-tone LED flash is also found at the back panel.

As of the current, there aren't any more details available yet but reports suggest that the Samsung Galaxy C5 is expected to be launched in the Chinese market. But if the reports turn out true, it's still to be known if the device will be coming out as well in other markets. Interested buyers will have to stay tuned to find out more.
