Samsung Galaxy Note 6 Specs Rumors: Phablet May Have A 16-Core Chip, 8 GB Of RAM, 4K Display
If reports are true, the next flagship phablet of Samsung, the Galaxy Note 6, will be decked with specs that will rival any gaming PC, according to a report in Tech Times. Despite the fact that barely half a year has passed since the Korean manufacturer unveiled the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, the rumor mill has started turning about what its successor will look like. The report said that the Note 6 will be sporting a powerful 16-core processor, paired with a whopping 8 GB of RAM. Its display is also said to be 4K.
The device is expected to be unveiled during the third quarter of 2016 and will be sporting other high-end specs as well.
According to the report, the Note 6 will have a 4K display that will either be 6 or 6.2 inches and will be foldable. The reason for the bigger display corresponds to an earlier statement of Samsung's CEO JK Shin that they want to "produce phones with larger screens to provide users with a better viewing experience and more productivity on the go."

Some reports are saying that the Note 6 will come with a 30 megapixel rear camera and a 16 megapixel selfie camera. One report, however, says that the selfie camera will only be a 7 megapixel shooter.
Internal storage will offer many variants, from 16, 32, 64, 128 and a whopping 256 GB. Battery capacity will be a high 4,200 mAh to power the high-end processor and high resolution display. Wireless charging will likely be available for this device, as well as fast-charging technology.
For secure transactions on Samsung Pay, the Note 6 will have support for fingerprint scanning and retina or iris scanning, according to the report.
The phone will offer dust- and shock-resistance, while several sensors will also be available such as a compass, an oxygen sensor for blood pressure, a heart rate sensor, a barometer and a thermometer.
The device's premium features will likely come with a premium price. According to the report, the device will be priced at around $1,100.
