Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE Advanced Model Ships 150,000 Units
The Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE Advanced model has sold over 150,000 units in the company's home country of Korea.
This version of the flagship is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC instead of the Snapdragon 600 that is found in the international model. Other than that the specs on both versions are the same. Both models feature a 5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED Display, 2GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel rear camera, 32GB built-in memory, a microSD slot and an IR port.
The Korean market has been a hard one to break into for other smartphone makers. The only device that has had success in the country thus far is the iPhone. LG plans to launch an LTE Advanced device in the nation on August 7. Pantech will also be releasing an LTE-A device in the near future.

The new software update for the Samsung Galaxy S4 is now available for Sprint customers.
The company rolled it out OTA (over-the-air). It makes some changes to the device including allowing it to move apps to the microSD card. It is 357MB and will not work on Galaxy S4 models that have been rooted. Users who have done so will have to revert back to factory settings in order to install the update or wait until their ROM provider brings these new features to their custom firmware.
The update will also correct a storage problem that was reported by many users. Smart Pause toggle will be added to the notification panel, briefing and SPD clients will make their way to the device, along with a status bar transparency that works with custom wallpapers.
The device will also now run some Knox Features with the new update along with a locked bootloader. It should arrive on other U.S. carriers in the near future.
