Samsung Galaxy S7 News: Samsung S7 Is Rumored To Be Offered in Three Variants

Samsung has changed the world with its Galaxy smartphone series, and smartphone lovers will see another tech revolution from the company again, with its upcoming flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S7.

The new Galaxy S7 was previously rumored to come out in two variants, but according to SamMobile's latest update, the new smartphone will be offered in three models.

The website reported that besides a variant with the 8890 chipset from Exynos, which is code-named "Mongoose," and another variant with the Snapdragon 820 chip from Qualcomm, a third variant will have a 7422 chipset from Exynos as well. The Exynos 7422 chipset was originally supposed to power the new Galaxy Note 5.

Besides having different chipsets, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7 is rumored to come with 3 GB RAM for the Exynos powered models, while the Snapdragon chipset-powered Galaxy S7 is said to come with 4 GB, according to Softpedia. However, all variants are expected to have 32 GB internal memory, and will run on the latest Android 6.0, or Android Marshmallows, according to Yibada.

Phone Arena also reported that the new Galaxy device will come with a "magnesium alloy unibody design." According to Venture Capital Post, the smartphone is going to come in "curved and flat" versions that comes with MicroSD slot to have more memory.

iDigital Times reported that there might also be different display size variants, which are the 5.2-inch and 5.8-inch models. The website reported that the front camera of the device will come with 5 megapixels, while the back camera will have 20 megapixels. However, in another report from Digital Trends, the rear camera is claimed to be 16 megapixels. The battery is said to be similar to the Galaxy S6 Edge, which has 2600 mAh, and is rumored to support wireless charging.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 is said to be released in February next year, but will be announced in January, according to rumors.
