Samsung Galaxy S7 release date, price, specs rumors: Display Tougher Than Gorilla Glass

With an ever-busy year for Samsung Electronics, fans are looking forward to the release of the Galaxy S7, which is considered by the company as a vital device that could either remake or further break the trust of the market.

The Galaxy S series has been the center of some serious reviews that state the company's diminishing reputation over the years as plastic constructions associated with the flagship handsets were not well received in the commercial and critical aspect. The all-too-critical reviews have forced the Korean electronics giant to admit publicly that the device range has not reached the quality that the marketplace required.

On the other hand, the giant tech somehow found its way back slowly into the market with the release of the Galaxy S6. While reviews for the said device have improved, the company is looking forward to the launch of the S7 that consumers will have nothing but good things to say.

Rumors suggest that the awaited handset won't launch anytime this year, and prospect buyers should expect for its U.K. release sometime in 2016, as reported by PC Advisor.

The device is thought to be tagged at around £649, based on the Galaxy S6's launch at £599. According to the outlet, the figures are possible only if the upcoming handset will not sport a curved screen technology.

Several other outlets suggest that the Galaxy S7 will come with a protective glass that is tougher than Gorilla Glass and could probably be lighter as rumors indicate that the tech company is planning for a tough magnesium-based alloy for the handset's build.

Some reports say Samsung is already testing the Snapdragon 820 to be installed in the S7. The processor is rumored to have a boost of about 35 percent over the current Snapdragon 810. The outlet also says the upcoming device, code-named "Jungfrau," will be featuring an Adreno 530 graphics and LP-DDR4 RAM chip support.

A recent rumor also suggests that the company may be once again working with Qualcomm to come up with a Snapdragon 820 that sports 3 gigahertz Kyro CPU cores.
