Samsung Galaxy S7 Release Date & Update: Expected to Arrive With Cheaper Price
It's no surprise that many of the Samsung fans are looking forward to seeing the upcoming Galaxy S7. And those who have been waiting for it will be glad to know that it's coming early next year already. According to Value Walk, reports state that the next flagship smartphone of Samsung will arrive in February 2016.
If it pushes through with the early release date, it would deviate from the usual release schedule of the South Korean tech giant, which has always announced the Galaxy S devices during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
But aside from the early release date next year, Samsung is rumored to bring a cheaper smartphone compared to the Galaxy S6. CNet detailed that the company could "price the Galaxy S7 around 10 percent lower" than its predecessor, as verbalized by China-based analyst Pan Jiutang.

And this could be possible as the company did hint in July that it would set the price of its Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge in order to boost sales. If ever Samsung decides to go through with pricing the next flagship smartphone lower, it's predicted that it will help the company get a much-needed increase in the smartphone arena especially since it has had some trouble for months because of weaker sales and decreasing market share. It will also convince consumers to purchase Samsung devices instead of its rivals like Apple, Huawei and Xiaomi.
In terms of specifications and features, Samsung Galaxy S7 is expected to be a winner with it. Android Headlines reported that the device is lately rumored to be equipped with a 20-megapixel camera with a support for RAW images. It's said to carry a new video recorder mode. Rumors also suggest that the handset will be complete with Cat 12 LTE and will be powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 and Samsung's own Exynos 8990 processor.
