Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 Rumors, Update: Recent Image Leak Features A 9.7-Incher Tablet
A new purported live photo from serial leaker site OnLeaks showed what is said to be the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 tablet.
The image, which was recently posted on Twitter, showed a 9.7-inch device which a report from GSM Arena said will bear "similar design language" as the current-gen flagship from the South Korean tech giant, the Samsung Galaxy S6.
According to the tech website: "This should hardly catch anyone by surprise -- last year's Samsung Galaxy Tab S rocked the same design as the Galaxy S5."
The leaked image itself showcases a silver white colored Galaxy Tab S2 tablet with cellular connectivity, a SIM card slot and a microSD card port sitting side by side on the device.
The forthcoming round-edged device is also featured with a home button placed near at the bottom bezel along with its touch navigation keys. Same as the previous Samsung Galaxy Tab S, the big slate has the Samsung branding placed at the top bezel alongside the front camera and light sensor.
The device is also reported to arrive with a thickness that could range from 5.8mm to 5.9mm.
Specifications for the Tab S2 remains to be seen although previous rumors pointed out that it will carry an AMOLED 9.7-inch display and a 64-bit Exynos CPU coupled with 32 GB of internal storage. The device is also expected to come with Android 5.0 Lollipop OS out of the box.
Reports also mentioned that the Tab S sequel will arrive with a Wi-Fi and LTE powered version, depending on the regional markets.
