Samsung Launches Sign-Up Page for Consumers Interested in Galaxy S3

Samsung launched a sign-up page for consumers interested in the new Galaxy S3 smartphone today.

The page will inform those interested in the device on release dates for various carriers and any other information pertaining to it.

The page reads "Sign up to get the latest on the Next Galaxy."

By entering basic information such as your email and name along with carrier preference, consumers can sign up to receive updates for the Galaxy S3.

Samsung has not announced any official release dates for the device, but has confirmed that it will begin rolling out at the end of May.

Samsung finally unveiled the long awaited Galaxy S3 smartphone yesterday at the company's "Mobile Unpacked" event that took place in London, England.

It also confirmed the specifications for the device in a press release earlier yesterday.

"This sleek and innovative smartphone has the enhanced intelligence to make everyday life easier," wrote Samsung. With Samsung GALAXY S III, you can view the content like never before on the device's 4.8 inch HD Super AMOLED display."

The display can also enhance to a 16:9 ratio allowing users to have wider viewing angles while watching video on the smartphone.

"An 8MP camera and a 1.9MP front camera offer users a variety of intelligent camera features and face recognition related options that ensure all moments are captured easily and instantly," added the company. Samsung GALAXY S III is powered by Android™ 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich, with greatly enhanced usability and practicality to make life easier."

The Samsung Galaxy S3 will come in two colors at its launch: Pebble Blue and Marble White.

Samsung promises to introduce a variety of different color options in the near future as well.

The Galaxy S3 will also feature NFC (near-field-communications) technology and will upgrade the Galaxy Nexus Android Beam feature into S Beam.
